today marks the 19th month anniversary of me n dear!!

went for a movie marathon!!

kung fu panda n x-men..

of cos we did took a break after watching kung fu panda..
went to swensens for dinner..

shared a pizza and then later on we ordered 5 scoops of icecream..
flavours: mocha, blackforest, cookies n cream, macademia and a green sour flavour ( which dear likes :p )

n the interesting thing is that dear insisted on paying, which i disagreed as he had paid for all the tixs n lunch..
so, when we finished the meal, i quickly called to the waiter for the bill..

and when the waiter went to get the bill, dear quickly got out his wallet first, while i secretly got out my posb card and hide it in my hands..

so when the waiter comes, i immediately passed the card to him, leaving dear no chance of paying..

hehe.. dear was so stunned to see how i had the card in my hands without him realising it :p

watched x-men with his sis after tat..
but i think it was due to the watching of too many hours of movies that makes me feel abit tired..

hehe..
had an enjoyable n unforgettable day though..

Not long ago, dear bought me a big, cute n fat panda from shanghai as a souvenir and pass it to me on the day of my violin exam to cheer me on..

Went out with cousie today!!

first we went to cineleisure to buy his friend's birthday pressie at 'Praise'. He wanted to buy gift voucher but oops, too bad, they dint sell vouchers..

in the end he bought a pretty nice shirt for his friend there instead..

next we head to 313..

was walking around, thinking of getting a drink, but just as we walked past Zara, cousin's eyes caught sight of a blue bag, in which he rushed in immediately..

haha..

he was so hooked by the bag!

He checked the pricing but there was none, so he took another bag of the similar design and saw the price marked as $89.90..

so ex!!

after considering whether should he buy, he saw a brown version.

And this was where the dilemma started..

we were in the shop for quite a while while he was comtemplating which colour to get..

and after a long hard decision...

he decided to get both!!

and its when he asked for a new piece for each that he saw the price ( which was stated in the new piece and not the displayed one)..

it was actually $129..

the $89.90 pricing was because the strap was not leather, and just nice both bags that he liked have leathered straps..

so after another session of self debating, he finally bought the blue one :)

went to coffee bean afterwards....

Long time no blog..

i realized that i always started the post with this statement, since i've always been rarely blogging..

vacation is here again, until august!!

alrights, i shall post some random things online..

i've celebrated cousin's birthday at Aston's in sembawang shopping centre!!
And here's our group photo!!

(cousin is the thin guy in blue shirt :) )

we've gotten him a cake, but sadly, the cake surprise wasnt much of a surprise to him, since he had guessed it long before.. oops..

yep the cake was the heart-shaped one, sponsored by his gf :)

we celebrated a week later for shichao (our best friend) for his birthday! Our chao treated us to fish n co.. and just nice they had the $3.90 fish n chips promotion!!

Haha.. chao must be very happy... :p

cousin and i passed the already bought cake and present to the staff..

and we lied to him say we got no time to buy his present..

when the staff came and brought out the stuffs, our gullible chao still thought that the present and the cake are from the staff!

Lol..

then a week later comes my birthday celebration!

Its incredible how our birthdays are exactly one week after each other :)

celebrated with chao and cousin one day before my actual birthday..

we actually went to amk hub to eat and chill at nebo cafe first..

told then i DONT WANT birthday cake..

i hate awkwardness.. everyone looking at me celebrating birthday in an eatery 0.0

haha but i got shocked and surprised when i reached home and mum was holding out a birthday cake!

Apparantly cousin had planned with my mum and have the cake cutting and eating ceremony at my place.. so sweet of them!!

They followed me secretly back home and we celebrated :):)

Had my actual birthday celebration with dear at clark quay at a bar..

It was the most romantic place i had ever seen..

and he did the most romantic thing that i always wished for..

on saturday i wore specs to teach..
was sitting in my studio waiting for my adult student to come..

after 10min still no sign of her..
so i sms and ask if she coming..

i heard footsteps soon after tat..

and then she said:
'sorry i Tot you are teaching!! i peep in and saw a girl wearing glasses..i Tot is your student! you wore glasses mehz?'

and on sunday me and my sis went work together..we are teaching at the same school..
we were just walking to the Sch when a passer-by randomly asked:
'you're twins?!'

i told him we're sisters and not twins and he was so appalled..

i cannot understand..

i fell down on my way from home to sch for quartet practice..
cos i was wearing a pair of slippery slippers on a rainy day..

got a huge patch of bruise on my right thigh..

and then just when i scan my cepas card in to the train station, i received a msg saying that quartet was cancelled..

good and bad in a sense i supposed..
the good thing is that i get to go home and rest my 'wounds'..
the bad thing is that i fell down for nothing..

at night, dad shouted at me..
being unreasonable..

Back at starbucks near NAFA doing history.

Sometimes i feel studying in the sch is really taxing;
when there is work, there's a huge huge pile of work that i cant possibly finish,
history individual and group project on going at the same time, then there is the theory presentation taking place too..

on top of that need practice for orchestra and ps..
need memorise orchestra excerpts which i HAVEN EVEN START TO PLAY.
(for exam)

then when there is finally the long holiday break,
we'll be so free that we can cry.

At mac with sis before going to relative's house...

anw the first day of new year is real boring...
i went home after 1.5 hrs..
(parents and sis still at relative's house)

not long later when i reached home, mum called to tell me tat sis is also on the way home..

the movie i think is a very very average movie..

Spent my whole 5 hours break at esplanade library just to search for recordings on a same piece but with one played by modern instruments and the other by period instruments..

plus need to find the score of the piece as well..

just submitted the citations of the recordings online..
and i realised that i missed out something and i couldnt edit my work!!

My hp mini was taken away by the servicing man today..

their service is quite fast i should say..
ystd call; today they come..

plus no pick up fee!!
(the person in the phone says there are pick up charges even though its under warranty,

went to city square mall with cousin and shichao today..

my studio in cristofori has been shifted to the 'storeroom'.
cos a full-time piano teacher will be using my present room..
a piano has already been placed in the already-very-squeezy room, making it more squeezy..

so im sort of glad to move out of it..

there's absolutely no soundf proof system in the storeroom..
so all my students are damn scared to play..
somemore the door is totally transparent, so ppl can look it very clearly and easily..

it's good though, that way my students can train their guts..
and they'll practice more in order to not embarrass themselves.. :P

i'm so eff up..

i actually saw the wrong date for the registration of the abrsm exam for the feb/mar 2010 intake!!

i thought the registration is until 17 October..
and i've already ask the parents to transfer the exam fees to my bank account..

then until just now when i want to register online,
then did i realised that the registration is CLOSED!!
ON 9 OCT!!

Grrr..why the abrsm website put last year's registration period on the top!!
made me mistake it as this year's registration date..
this year's date was placed right at the end of the page..

so im damn screwed now.
need to call and apologised to all the parents for my stupid mistake.

Went to SSO open rehearsal today..
its a new experience..cos i had never been to one before..

as for the conductor, i feel that lim yau is still the best..
the moment he conduct, the whole orchestra came to life..
as compared to the other conductor conducting..

the rehearsal was real long though..
from 6.30pm to 9.30pm..
but there's a short intermission..

Went si liang's house for baking session today!!

basically,
the performance was real bad for the triple concerto ystd..
everyone( i think ) played at least one wrong thing..

and it was very rushed..

miraculously, hartung said it's a successful concert..

i woke up halfway while i was abt to reach the interchange..
so i quickly rush to take bus 811 home..

wasn't really feeling well today.
feel like vomiting since morning on the bus..

i don think its nice though..
